WTC Moscow Congress Center was recognized the best in Russia according to the rating of Business Travel Russia & MICE Award 2013

Congress Center of the World Trade Center Moscow won the nomination of the Best Congress Center in Russia according to the rating of Business Travel Russia & MICE Award 2013. Winners and awardees honoring ceremony took place in President Hotel on October 2.

Among the awardees were also such well-known and top-class facilities as IEC Crocus Expo and tourist multi-functional facility GRINN. Altogether participating in the nomination were 12 contenders from various regions of Russia.

In 2013 the MICE Award contest was held with 18 nominations including one special, off-contest: “MICE’s most outstanding project of the year”. The winners include: Ritz Carlton Moscow, Radisson Royal (St.-Petersburg), Hotel Zhemchuzhina (the Pearl), Sochi, Business Travel Solutions, Demlink Travel, UTS24 and many other.

WTC Moscow General Director Vladimir Salamatov: "This award is very important for us because it is for the first time we have been recognized the country’s front runner. And now our task is to keep up and from year to year improve the services quality and not only those of congress servicing".

The MICE Award Contest has become regular since 2010. The business tourism and MICE award was established by the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Business Travel magazine and Conference.ru. Internet portal. The project is to identify winners in 17 key nominations including: best congress hotel (Moscow, St.-Petersburg and other country’s regions), best congress-center of Russia, best organizers of conferences and workshops in Russia and abroad, best business-travel agency, best air carrier for business travelers, best national tourism office in the area of MICE promotion, best on-line booking system.
