WTC Goa's initiatives for Women's Day 2026

March 11, 2026 | Goa - In the runup to the celebrations for International Women’s Day 2026, World Trade Center Goa (WTC Goa) on 6th March 2026, launched two significant women-centric initiatives – EnterprisingWomen@WTC Goa and BusinessStudio@WTC Goa – aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and strengthening the regional business ecosystem. EnterprisingWomen@WTC Goa will focus on identifying and nurturing women entrepreneurs across Goa. The initiative seeks to support women-led enterprises by addressing their skilling needs, providing capacity-building programs, and training their personnel in improved management practices. The goal is to enhance product quality, increase productivity, and improve the overall economic profitability of women-run enterprises, enabling them to scale their businesses sustainably. BusinessStudio@WTC Goa will complement this effort by promoting member businesses and helping them leverage opportunities in global markets. The initiative will serve as a platform to guide enterprises on trade readiness, market access and international business linkages, thereby strengthening their participation in global trade networks. Both initiatives will be led by an exclusive women-led team at WTC Goa, reflecting the organization’s commitment to fostering inclusive economic growth and creating stronger opportunities for women entrepreneurs in the state. WTC Chennai Observes National Safety Week

March 9, 2026 | Chennai - 4 Mar 2026 The launch of National Safety Week 2026 (4 March – 10 March) at World Trade Center Chennai began with a series of activities focused on strengthening awareness and responsibility across the campus. The day began with the flag hoisting by Mr. Poovazhagan from our tenant company, Caterpillar. This was followed by safety badge distribution and a collective safety pledge, reinforcing the importance of shared responsibility in creating a secure work environment. A safety rally across the campus, involving clients and staff, added momentum to the day’s program and encouraged greater participation in safety initiatives. With more activities planned through the week, the program aims to promote a culture where safety, awareness, and preparedness remain integral to everyday operations. Read More

March 9, 2026 | Kochi - 4 Mar 2026 The beginning of National Safety Week 2026 (4 March – 10 March) was marked with a series of activities designed to promote awareness, preparedness, and a strong safety culture across the campus at World Trade Center Kochi. The week-long observance commenced with the safety flag hoisting by WTC tenant representatives, followed by a safety pledge. As part of Day 1 activities, our operations team organized a display and briefing of essential safety equipment used in day-to-day facility management, showcasing the practices that ensure smooth and secure operations within WTC. With multiple training sessions, competitions, and awareness programs lined up through the week, we aim to further strengthen the culture of safety in our campus. Read More

Virtual Session on US Tariffs and India’s Trade

March 9, 2026 | Bengaluru - 4 Mar 2026 Our virtual dialogue on the US tariffs offered timely and valuable perspectives on what these shifts mean for India’s trade in the context of current geopolitical situation. Ambassador T. P. Sreenivasan, Former Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to the UN in Vienna, shared clear and insightful views on the tariff scenario, the importance of pursuing a trade agreement with the United States, and how global developments are affecting India’s negotiation approach. The conversation was moderated by Dr. D. Dhanuraj, Chairman of Centre for Public Policy Research, who helped breakdown this complex theme. The session began with introductory remarks by K. K. Pillai from Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZs (EPCES), our program partner. We thank all the attendees from diverse industries whose participation made the discussion more engaging.
