Moscow, June 26. Director General of the WTC Vladimir Salamatov held negotiations with the Chinese delegation in the topic of the forthcoming 114th Chinese Export and Import Fair in Guangzhou.
The presentation was sponsored by: Chinese Foreign Trade Center, Office of the Counselor for Trade and Economics of the Chinese People’s Republic Embassy in the Russian Federation with assistance of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia.

In his greeting address V. Salamatov pointed out the record growth of Chinese economy after joining the WTO in 2003. "The correctness of the Chinese Government’s decision-making (on joining the WTO – editor’s note) is illustrated by the statistical data on the growth dynamics of the Celestial Empire. Foreign trade volume has grown 17-fold since 2003", - V. Salamatov said – Quality of Chinese goods has significantly improved in this time, facilitated, among other, by development of exhibition and trade fair activities".
Mr. Wang Zhiping thanked V. Salamatov for the opportunity to make the presentation of the famous Canton Fair. "One of our main objectives is to achieve the Russian/Chinese bilateral trade volume of $ 100 billion dollars by the end of 2013. Another no less important task for us is work on creating advantages of expansion of the cooperation and close interaction area", - Wang Zhiping concluded.
