2015 WTCA Board Election Reminder

Sep 03, 2014

The 2015 WTCA Board election is only seven months away. WTCA is still actively seeking qualified individuals to become candidates for the WTCA’s biennial board election, which will be held in conjunction with the April 2015 General Assembly in Manila.
Each WTCA Member should have received the 2015 Board election notice distributed in July by the Nomination & Compensation Committee’s Chair Charlotte Gallogly (click here). This informative notice describes the basic criteria candidates must meet to run for, and serve on, the WTCA Board.
The notice also reminds you that the time to prepare for the April 2015 election is now. Additional information regarding the 2015 board candidate process will be provided at next month’s WTCA Member Seminar (October 19-22) in New York.
The WTCA depends on an active and diverse Board of Directors to represent the interests of our global network of Members and to help shape the future of the Association. As many as 13 Board seats may be filled in the 2015 election – with one or more open seats in each region. Our goal is to have as many talented and enthusiastic candidates as possible on the ballot.
Remember, your participation is critical to the success of our organization. WTCA is best served when its Board represents the diversity of WTCA’s global Members – the men and women on six continents who operate World Trade Centers to promote prosperity through international trade.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Gallogly (info@worldtrade.org / +1-305-871-7910) or the other members of the Nomination & Compensation Committee – John Adeleke-WTC Lagos (worldtradelagos@yahoo.co.uk), Lew Cramer-WTC Utah (lcramer@wtcut.com), Pierre-Antoine Gailly-WTC Paris (pagailly@ccip.fr), and Ousama Ghannoum-WTC Beirut (ousamag@gmail.com).
