Here’s what recently certified member WTC Winnipeg had to say about the experience:
“The certification process was a very positive and valuable experience for the WTC Winnipeg. We are a relatively new WTC and undertook the certification process from the outset. Although we had been an operating trade agency for a number of years prior to obtaining the WTC license, working through the steps of certification was an excellent opportunity to thoroughly review, update, and document our procedures and website. This has been especially valuable as we grow and bring new staff on board. We now have clear standards and feel we are stronger as an organization.
As an added bonus, once we obtained our certification, we benefited from a unique opportunity to celebrate the achievement with the WTCA. Coinciding with an official visit to New York City, we were presented our certification in the company of the Premier of our province. This recognition by the WTCA, of the WTC Winnipeg achieving global standards in trade services, has also been another validation of the value the WTC Winnipeg brings to our local market.”
