First stage of WTC Cali to be complete by end 2014

CALI, COLOMBIA - The World Trade Center Cali began to dawn in the north of the city and later this year will open its first stage. This world center of business and commerce will be a key to the business community of the region tool, in the face of free trade and the Pacific Alliance.

And no wonder, for their service portfolio comprises information markets, ease of integration and exchanges, contacts and business meetings, consulting and training, conferences, fairs and exhibitions, international missions, club services and rental temporary offices, among others.

The WTC Cali will help entrepreneurs connect with the business world and let them make the most of the FTA, said Carlos H. Vallderuten, promoter of WTC Cali.

For its part, Eric Dahl, WTCA CEO, said that with its worldwide network of institutional platforms and services, WTCA is useful for institutions and leaders of many entities and cities of the world towards achieving the strengthening process of entrepreneurship, innovation and production patterns. 

The WTC Cali license is held by The Group Civiscorp, and construction company Alps Davero Colpatria will build the WTC facility.  It will have a total of four components: (Pacific Mall) shopping center, international hotel (Hyatt Hotel), medical center and shopping complex (Corporate).

The project generates about 1,500 direct and indirect jobs during construction, as well as a significant number during operation. The first phase of the project will be delivered later this year and the second in the second half of 2015.

Apart from the aforementioned brands as Hyatt Hotels, the WTC facility will feature Falabella and Cinemark, among others. Similarly, it will provide a modern physical infrastructure business and commercial services. The institutions may join WTC Cali during this year.
