ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - On May 20 - 22 2014, the Digital Energy International Software Summit took place in World Trade Center Rotterdam. From all over the world customers, partners and leaders came together at this event, organized by General Electric (GE), to discuss software solutions for electrical, telecommunications, gas and water industries.
This year’s Summit included a media panel, industry workshops and technology presentations. The Plenary session took place in the Rotterdam Hall with keynote speakers; Ahmed Aboutaleb (Mayor of Rotterdam) and GE’s Ferdinando “Nani” Beccalli-Falco (CEO - GE Europe) and Willem Ruh (Vice President – GE Global Software Headquarters). The technology tracks were held in adjacent rooms of the Exchange Hall and Shipping Hall were the exhibition took place. Excellent networking took place due to the layout of rooms and flow. The organizers were pleased with the location and the services offered, which made it a successful event.
