A meeting of representatives of the World Trade Centers of Krasnodar, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don and St. Petersburg was held on October 10 in the World Trade Center Rostov-on-Don.
The participants traditionally reviewed their practical experience, prospects of further cooperation and visited the new WTC facility (WTC Rostov-on-Don was opened in April 2013). President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation S.N. Katyrin, President of the CCI of Ukraine G.D. Chizhikov and President of the Rostov Oblast TPP N.I. Prisyazhnyuk were among the participants. The parties stressed the importance of strategic partnership of the World Trade Centers and Chambers of Commerce and Industry, as well as the need for regional WTC facilities in Russia.
The meeting opened with the addresses by V.Yu. Salamatov, Director General of the WTC Moscow, S.N. Trofimov, President of the WTC Rostov-on-Don and I.V. Gorin, President of Don-Plaza – the key partner. The participants exchanged their views on the results of the recent 44th General Assembly of the World Trade Centers in Mumbai, received information on the results of the meeting of the Association Directors held in October and on the status of development of a new AWTC platform www.wtca.org. The meeting set the action points for further development of cooperation among World Trade Centers in Russia.
