WTCDC , in collaboration with the  Washington Intergovernmental Professional Group , had the honor of hosting  His Excellency Jose Manuel Romualdez, Ambassador of the Philippines to the United States , for a networking reception focused on advancing trade and investment.  Ambassador Romualdez  highlighted the Philippines’ robust economic fundamentals, modernized business environment, and strong bilateral ties with the U.S., noting opportunities in infrastructure, energy, logistics, manufacturing, and the digital and semiconductor industries. He underscored the enduring strength of  U.S.–Philippines relations and also pointed to the potential for up to $100 billion in investments over the next five to ten years from U.S. and Japanese partners, particularly in energy, digital infrastructure, and manufacturing.
