BIRD Foundation Funding Roundtable Discussion

The BIRD Foundation, a program that was established in 1977 by the U.S. and Israeli governments, fosters mutually beneficial collaborations between U.S. and Israeli companies, including both startups and established organizations. BIRD offers matchmaking support to connect U.S. and Israeli companies, as well as providing non-dilutive funding that covers up to 50% of project development costs, maximum $1.5M per project.

BIRD supports projects across a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, communications, construction technologies, software, electronics, electro-optics, life sciences, homeland security, renewable and alternative energy, and more. Each year, BIRD supports approximately 30 projects, with cumulative sales of products developed through BIRD-funded projects exceeding $10 billion.
