2016 WORLD LABOUR DAY

This year 12th of June has been set aside by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) as the World's day against child labour. To commemorate this day, the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations (MELR) in collaboration with the World Trade Centre Accra on Friday 10th of June will be holding an anti-child labour event. The theme for this year's event is ''END CHILD LABOUR IN SUPPLY CHAINS IN GHANA; TOGETHER WE CAN''. The event will commence with an Anti-child labour walk from the Accra sports stadium to the children's Park. The whole event will be climaxed with a communique presentation to the chief executive officer of the Ghana Employer's Association and other dignitaries at the World Trade Centre Accra.
