About World Trade Center Curitiba

The World Trade Center branch in Curitiba was inaugurated in 2011 and is chaired by Josias Cordeiro da Silva, who also represents the WTC brand in the city of Joinville (inaugurated in 2014).

WTC Curitiba holds international seminar

September 25, 2023 - The World Trade Center Curitiba, in partnership with the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná, held the III Paraná International Business Seminar, on the 20th and 21st of September At the event, it was possible to debate topics such as ESG, multinational leadership, taxes, customs barriers, energy, artificial intelligence and many others, and featured renowned speakers, such as the president of Airbus Brasil, Mr Gilberto Peralta. During the two days, the Consular Corps of the State of Paraná participated in the "Hall of Nations", an initiative of the event that aimed to promote countries with consular representation in the state. More than 10 countries were present, represented by their ambassadors and consuls, as well as some chambers of commerce. In total, the Seminar brought together more than 900 participants who were able to share and listen to the experiences of 39 speakers, divided into 4 simultaneous activities. Finally, the event proposed the construction of a strategic roadmap called “Paraná 2040” which aims to transform the state into a national reference in promoting international business. Read More

II International Business Seminar of Paraná

September 6, 2022 - On August 31st and September 1st, WTC Curitiba held, in partnership with the Federation of Industries of Paraná, the Second International Business Seminar of the State of Paraná. With more than 500 participants, the event had presentations by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the US Embassy in Brazil, the UK and German Consulates, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), from the government of the State of Paraná, the Municipality of Curitiba, the Commercial Association of Paraná and the World Trade Center Curitiba, and others. The main theme of the event was: "competitiveness in international business" and the WTC Curitiba Competitiveness Program participated with its 5 groups: Taxes, M&A, ESG, Digital Acceleration and People and Culture. SMART CITIES LATAM: CASES AND STRATEGIES
