From June 15 to 17, 2025, the World Trade Center Metz-Saarbrücken took part in the European Regional Meeting of World Trade Centers, hosted in Sofia, Bulgaria. Alongside 15 other WTCs from across the continent, the event served as a valuable forum for exchanging ideas and best practices on key global and regional challenges.

Participants, warmly welcomed by WTC Sofia, engaged in discussions on a wide range of forward-looking topics, including:

• Artificial Intelligence and innovation

• Energy and mobility transitions

• Emerging real estate strategies

• Regional economic connectivity

The two-day gathering also included site visits to innovation hubs such as Sofia Tech Park, showcasing Bulgaria’s dynamism and openness to international collaboration.
