Paul Wallman, World Trade Center Portland

With more than 18 years in the industry and his vast experience managing virtually all types of commercial buildings, Paul knows what makes them tick. In his current role as building manager of the World Trade Center, Paul oversees this unique three-building complex, which includes a high-rise office suite, ground-floor retail, and a conference center hosting more than 2,500 events a year. The World Trade Center sits on three city blocks in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon and houses a variety of tenants.who employ more than 1,900 people and welcome thousands of visitors and customers each year.
Prior to joining WTC, Paul held positions as facilities operations manager and project manager for the City of Portland from 2004 to 2012, managing the historic Portland City Hall and Union Station, the Justice Center, 9-1-1 Center, Development Services Center, Police Precincts, Smart Park garages, and the Portland Building, which houses several municipal bureaus and departments.
Paul continually strives to grow his building management expertise, connect with others in his industry, and pursue development opportunities through his participation in several professional associations: BOMA Oregon, the U.S. Green Building Council, the Project Management Institute and the Institute of Real Estate Management. Paul is also a member of Toastmasters International.
