Since 2008 till present Mia has been working in World Trade Center Gothenburg. Her first post was as a market manager. It evolved to marketing and sales manager for a few years, before she became acting president in 2013. She is now chief operating officer of the WTC and manages issues in the daily operations and strategic issues of the business together with the board.

Mia has previously owned and operated her own company in the meetings industry for 8 years.
