Fanghui Li

Fanghui Li, Research Associate, China Trade Specialist, World Trade Center Tacoma

Fanghui Li serves as a Research Associate and China Trade Specialist at the WTC Tacoma. She Joined the World Trade Center family in 2013. Fanghui is originally from Shenzhen, a beautiful coastal metropolis in China. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the Pacific Lutheran University. 

During her time with the WTCTA, she has worked on marketing, trade research, and strategic planning project for both members as well as businesses in our community and abroad.Fanghui works closely with Mike Fowler on the Tacoma-Fuzhou project. She is an expert in facilitating communication and strategic partnerships between local firms and businesses in Fuzhou, China. She is the main editor and translator for the project and is in charge of the project’s online platform. Additionally, she is also actively involved in the event planning process including the Monthly Speaker Series, inbound trade missions and other business matchmaking events. Working at World Trade Center Tacoma did not only allow her to gain a broader and more dynamic understanding and experience in connecting local businesses with the international business community, but it has also reinforced her passion for working in a nonprofit organization.
