Emilie Antigny, Marketing and Trade Services, World Trade Center Milan

Emilie Antigny is a French citizen working at the Marketing and Trade Services Department of the World Trade Center Milan, Italy.

Her background is a blend of professional experiences and management in the tourism industry across Europe. She graduated in Catering & Hospitality Management in 2003 and worked abroad in multicultural environments. She has acquired excellent communication skills in English, Spanish and Italian. Emilie eventually took over a Cyber Café / Juice Bar for 3 years in Spain. Eager to pursue her studies, she sold it in May 2009.

In 2010, she obtained a Master’s Degree in International Relations at the Postgraduate School of Economics and International Relations of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan, Italy.

During the Master’s program she mainly concentrated on Competitiveness, Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) and Sustainable Development as a business, government and institutional strategy and received a scholarship thanks to its project on Tourism and Sustainable Development. To complete her Master’s degree she worked as an intern at the U.S. Commercial Service of the American Consulate in Milan, Italy, and at the Institute for Peace and Sustainability of the United Nations University (UNU-ISP) in Tokyo, Japan.

From 2011 to 2013, working as Program Assistant at the Landau Network - Centro Volta, an international think-tank based in Como, Italy, Emilie organized international conferences related to international security for the International Working Group – Global Partnership G8. She also launched innovative programs connected to education and peace in collaboration with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
