Elizabeth Goryunova, Interim President & CEO, World Trade Center Utah

Elizabeth Goryunova serves as Interim President & CEO of the World Trade Center Utah, providing strategic and operational leadership for the organization during its transition period. She has been instrumental in the strategic development of the World Trade Center Utah since its inception, in the most recent years serving as Executive Vice President & COO. Elizabeth has enjoyed two decades of successful career in international business development in academia, industry (electronics manufacturing, finance, marketing consulting) and a non-profit, both in Utah and overseas. Her professional and educational expertise (including international business strategy and operations, international marketing, finance most recent endeavors of MBA with emphasis on International Finance and Global Leadership PhD program) is enriched by multicultural perspective.

Elizabeth is one of 10 U.S. Private Sector Liaison Officers to the World Bank Group, she is responsible for the Intermountain West Region. In that capacity she connects private businesses and individuals with global procurement opportunities within the framework of the projects financed by the International Financial Institutions (World Bank, IDB, OPIC and others). She is a member and treasurer of the Utah District Export Council, Vice President of the Directive Council of the Italy Utah Cooperation Center. She is a member of the International Women's Forum, a founding member and President of the Organization of Women in International Trade (Utah Chapter), of the Academy of Management and the International Leadership Association. She previously served for four years on Utah State Radiation Control Board and for three years on the University of Utah International Center Advisory Board.
