Elena Belashova started her career in the hospitality industry in 1998, in Sales Administration of the Moscow Marriott Hotels. In 2000, she joined the World Trade Centre team as a Director of Sales and Marketing of the hotel. Due to excellent results of her sales team in the competitive hospitality market in 2007, Ms. Belashova was appointed to the General Manager position with the responsibility to ensure a successful opening and the revenue growth of the WTC hotel under the world famous Crowne Plaza brand.

To achieve outstanding financial results and comply with IHG standards, Ms. Belashova demonstrated enormous operational capabilities and efficiency, as well as being involved in perfecting every aspect of hotel operation from sales to technical maintenance, she exemplified by all means, the desire to be the best in the local market.

Under the lead of Elena Belashova, Crowne Plaza Moscow WTC hotel was recognized for its outstanding performance and quality and got numerous awards and certificates of excellence both from travel communities like TripAdvisor and from the InterContinental Hotels Group headquarters. In 2011, Elena Belashova was awarded the prestigious title “General Manager of the Year”. This proves her as one of the best Managers among colleagues from more than 700 InterContinental Group hotels across the European region.

Besides successful managing of Crowne Plaza Moscow WTC hotel, Ms. Belashova was leading a construction project of a Crowne Plaza Club extension that was successfully opened in 2011 and became a unique property among hotels in the Russian Federation and EMEA region. Today Elena Belashova efficiently manages the largest upscale hotel in Moscow with the 724 guest rooms. For her great contribution in the development of the WTC Moscow, Ms. Belashova was awarded the honorary badge of the CCI of Russian Federation.
