Angela Koenes, Deputy Director, World Trade Center Tacoma

Angela Koenes serves as the Deputy Director at the WTC Tacoma.She was introduced to the World Trade Center Association in 2004 as a student at the University of Montana, where she earned a BS in International Business. She served at the WTC Montana by assisting the Executive Director with a variety of research projects and strategic planning for members as they grew their international presence. Angela has also managed a variety of businesses in the private sector and been able through lean management to grow market shares and increase profitability. She has also worked extensively with data management. Angela is a native of Sweden, has traveled extensively and done volunteer work in South Africa as well as in Holland. She has also studied English in Brighton, England. Angela lives in Puyallup with her husband, a pastor and employment consultant, and her 4 year old daughter. Her personal interests include science (she studied biochemistry for 3 years in Sweden), politics, international relations, travel, and a variety of sports.
