Washington State AVA Wine Tasting Series

Experience Washington State’s winegrowing regions with an in-depth, educational wine tasting, facilitated by Jamie Peha, Founder of TableTalk Northwest. The evening will feature wines from Yakima Valley – the FIRST AVA in Washington State, established in 1983.

Yakima Valley is home to the most vineyard acres in Washington State and it provides the grapes for some of the best wine labels across the state including Alexandria Nicole, Betz, Apex Cellars and Kestrel Vintners. Learn about the soil, climate and tastes from Yakima Valley grapes from esteemed Seattle Sommelier, Yashar Shayan, and other wine makers.
