The EB-5 Investor Visa allows a foreign investor to invest $500,000 or $1,000,000 into a U.S. enterprise with the result that at least 10 jobs are created for U.S. workers and the foreign investors obtain an expedited route to an Immigrant Visa or "Green Card." Most investors use the more well-known Regional Center Model, but this seminar focuses exclusively on the Direct EB-5 Investor Visa, which can be a very good vehicle for small to medium-sized U.S. businesses seeking capital. Our panelists will cover the immigration, tax, securities, and financial aspects of this model and we will also discuss the resources available for investors seeking to invest in Southern California.
