Mirabilia - European Network of Unesco Sites connects for the first time all the areas associated by an historical, cultural and environmental importance. It aims to foster interaction among institutions and economic stakeholders and among different governance models supporting different territorial development policies.
Sponsored by the Chambers of Commerce of Brindisi, Genoa, L'Aquila, La spezia, Matera, Perugia, Salerno Udine and the Consortium Vicenza รจ, this project aims to build a new network of Unesco - World Eritage Sites, excluding the universally known ones, in order to promote them among Italian and foreign tourists.
It is a tourist offer which presents Italy in a different way, excluding the well known destinations which attract mass tourism. It is a custom-made people-oriented tourist offer, where tourist reception and care are essential. At the same time, the variety and richness of the offer (historical - artistic heritage , cultural heritage, environmental assets and landscapes) enable to create the perfect package holidays for many potential tourists.
Mirabilia will be presented at the most important international tourism fairs: MITT Moscow (20-23 March), TTI Italia (17-19 October), WTM London (4-7 November). More over, the project has important collaborations with international Chambers of Commerces and cities and it provides workshops and b2b meetings.
