Join hands to seize the opportunity to develop western China and to enhance the brand value of World Trade Center.

Chongqing, as a bridge for the development of the western region, has expanded its influence and radiation effect in the country and the world at large. The "CCISF" as an annual Chongqing trade and investment fair is attracting the world's attention.

On May 17-20, 2012, the 15th China Chongqing International Investment and the Global Sourcing Fair hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the State Council Three Gorges, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, the People's Government at municipal and provincial level in western and mid-east region was held in Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Center. During the event, thousands of well-known enterprises at home and abroad gathered in the "mountain city, Chongqing", and discussed mutual cooperation and development. 

During CCISF, Chongqing World Trade Center held the 2012 World Trade Centers Association(Chongqing) Development Forum under the theme of "Join hands to seize the opportunity to develop western region and to enhance the brand value of world trade" in Chongqing Marriott Hotel. 

Ai Yang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chongqing Municipal Government, Long Yongtu, Member of the International Advisory Committee of the Boao Asian Forum, and Chief Negotiator and former Deputy Director of the COFTEC, Robert J. Frueh, Executive Vice President of the WTCA, Wu Jialin, Chairman of the Taiwan Industrial and Commercial Development and Research Council, Li Shirong, Deputy Director of the COFTEC and Chairwoman of the Chongqing WTC, Liang Shilin, General Manager of the China WTC, Jochum Haakma, Chairman of the Netherlands Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Zhang Chunqing, Vice Mayor of Chongqing Banan Distric, Gerard Vaandrager, President of the Netherlands Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Scott Wang, Vice President of Asia Pacific WTCA, Lin Zhiliang, Executive Director of the Rising Sun International Real Estate Venture Investment LLC, attended the forum.

The forum attracted 18 World Trade Center, 11 community organizations and government departments, more than 50 companies, 23 media from around the world, and more than 200 participants. By then, many representatives of the global World Trade Centers, government officials and business elites will gather in Chongqing, to promote the brand image of the World Trade Center to the world on the platform of "CCISF", to explore investment opportunities for development in Chongqing, serving as a platform to seek common development.

CCISF opening ceremony at the podium was participated by guests attending the 2012 World Trade Center Association (Chongqing) Forum—member of Boao Forum for Asia's International Advisory Committee, chief negotiator and vice minister of the former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, Long Yongtu, executive vice president of the World Trade Center Association, Robert J. Frueh, chairman of Taiwan Council for Industrial and Commercial Development, Wu Chia-lin, General Manager of China World Trade Liang Silin, chairman of Wuxi WTC Li Yanran. After the opening ceremony, they were met by the Chongqing Mayor Huang Qifan.
