Chongqing World Trade Center representatives participated in the 2012 Asia Pacific Regional Conference of the World Trade Center

World Trade Centers Association 2012 Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Region opened in Beijing, China on February 23. Participants of the meeting included heads of World Trade Centers from more than 10 cities from the Asia-Pacific and the Americas, Europe, and Africa, and leaders of the World Trade Center of more than 20 cities including Chinese Taipei, Shanghai, Chongqing, and more than 150 business representatives. 

With the theme of "link global network of World Trade Center", the annual meeting covered in-depth discussions on topics including trade and economic prospects of China and the Asia-Pacific region in the context of globalization, expansion of service functions and trade networks of the World Trade Center, the World Trade Center in Greater China and doing "business in China" and so forth.

The Chongqing World Trade Center's Chairwoman Ms. Li Shirong, Secretary-General Mr. Spencer Wu and Vice Chairwoman Ms. Long Xiaoyan Vice President Mr. Wu Weichun led the delegation of the Chongqing World Trade Center to participate in this event. In the meeting of World Trade Center Greater China region held on the morning of Feb. 24th, Mr. Spencer Wu and Ms. Li Shirong met representatives from over 15 World Trade Centers to discuss the development of the World Trade Center in China. At the meeting, Ms. Li Shirong introduced to various World Trade Center the new reshuffle and development concept of Chongqing World Trade Center, as well as the development of Chongqing in recent years. In addition, she also invited other WTCs to participate in the 2012 World Trade Center Association (Chongqing) Development Forum to be organized by the Chongqing World Trade Center during the upcoming "15 session CCISF". The forum will share the successful experience of World Trade Centers in Greater China. And building on the platform of "hot Chongqing " and "Western China International Investment and Imports of Consumer Goods Trade Fair", it will promote the brand of World Trade Center to Chongqing, western China and even the world and expand its influence in governments and enterprises. With her detailed introduction, many member cities in the greater China region gained a better understanding of Chongqing, which has attracted much attention. Many member cities have indicated that they would participate in the forum organized by the Chongqing World Trade Center, and take this opportunity to get together in Chongqing for the common goal.
