Haluk Kanca was born in 1968 in Trabzon (Northern Turkey). His prosperous career based over more than 20 years of experience mainly concentrated on Finance, International Trade, logistics and real estate management. Throughout his working life and within the institutions he worked for, he constantly pursued perfection in order to enhance the companyโ€™s objectives to the more advanced levels. He profoundly devotes himself to the work and company.

As Supervisor โ€“ Kuwait Turkish Finance House-(1992 โ€“ 1999)
His career began with Kuwait Turkish Finance House. He started to work in accounting department and it lasted for 4 years. He is an expert on analyzing financial figures, balance sheet and income statement. Then he moved to International Banking Department for the operations of fund management and trade finance transactions. He managed USD 100 million fund on behalf of foreign investors especially from the gulf region.


As an Executive Vice President โ€“ Erteks Textile (1999 โ€“ 2006)
He managed Finance, Accounting, foreign trade operations and logistics department for 8 years. Turnover of the company increased from 12 million to 30 million USD during his management. He also managed a privatization project on behalf of his company to acquire one of the largest textile complexes from the Ethiopian government in 2004.

As an Independent Consultant (Jan 2006 โ€“ Oct 2008)
He provided expert services to many companies in different sectors such as energy, textile, agriculture and construction in Turkey. He achieved to manage benchmarking study of Istanbul Gas Distribution Company (IGDAS), applied EU Framework project for implementing new technology in gas industry.

As General Manager of WTC Istanbul (Oct 2008 - Present)
He increased operational profit of WTC Istanbul for 10% in 2009 compared to 2008 despite economic crisis in the world
